Day 1: Arrive Delhi
You will be met at the Delhi airport and will be transferered to your hotel. The remainder of the is at leisure to recover from the journey. In the evening, take a stroll around your hotel or nearby market. Our staff will advise you on interesting places to eat out.
Day 2: Delhi

Your Indian Adventure starts with a full day tour of Delhi, enjoying the key sights and the incredible architecture. Your private guide will explain the rich history of Delhi and highlight the contrast between the Old and New regions of the city. The walled city of Old Delhi, guarded by the Red Fort (a World Heritage Site) was built in 1648. Its narrow alleys are dotted with countless landmarks including India’s largest mosque, the Jama Masjid and the legendary marketplace of Chandni Chowk that stocks everything from spices and perfumes, to jewellery and dress materials. A highlight of the tour is a guided walk and cycle rickshaw journey through bustling Chandni Chowk market, where you can absorb the sights, sounds and local life in the depths of Old Delhi.
Later in the day, you will concentrate on the New Delhi – a well planned capital of British India. Take an orientation tour through New Delhi to see various important buildings designed by Sir Edward Lutyens. The major landmarks in the sightseeing are the India Gate, the President’s Palace (Rashtrapati Bhawan) and the Parliament building. Later you will visit the Humayun’s Tomb – a World Heritage Site and the first garden tomb in India. Finally visit the Qutab Minar – a brick minaret inspired by the Minaret of Jam in Afghanistan and another World Heritage Site.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra
A comfortable 3-4 hour drive along the National Highway brings you to your next destination – Agra. You will stay overnight in Agra.
Your guide will meet you at your hotel before exploring some of Agra’s fascinating sites including the magnificent Agra Fort. The fort is brought to life by your guide explaining the rich history behind the beautiful architecture, before you continue on to your visit of the spectacular and incredibly special Taj Mahal. Built in memorial of Mumtaz Mahal, Mughal emperor Shah Jehan’s beloved wife, this magnificent building is made entirely of marble and decorated with elaborate geometric forms and inlay work that showcases plants, flowers, and fruit motifs. Savour the magnificent view of Taj Mahal at sunset before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Ranthambore
Today, there is an option to wake up early and visit Taj Mahal again at sunrise. Taj Mahal is particularly beautiful at dawn with sun casting orange glow on the white marble. After breakfast, you will drive for an hour to Fatehpur Sikri. Established by Mughal Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri was abandoned just 14 years later due to lack of water supply. This World Heritage Site has a great collection of Mughal architecture – the Buland Darwaza, a victory gate that looms 134 feet high, the imperial Jami Masjid, the tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti, the halls of public and private audience and the Panch Mahal.
After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, drive on for about 4-5 hours to Ranthambore – a famous tiger park in Rajasthan. On the way, there is an option to stop at Bharatpur and visit a famous bird sanctuary – Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. The bird sanctuary attracts a large number of migratory birds in the winter months.
You spend the next two nights in Ranthambore National Park.
Day 5: Ranthambore
Ranthambore National Park is situated at the edge of a plateau bound to the north by the Banas River and to the south by the Chambal River. One of the largest parks in India, it stretches to 382 square kilometres of dense tropical dry forest. You will take up morning and afternoon game drives today. On your game drives, you have good chances to see India’s premier wildlife attraction, the Royal Bengal Tiger as well as leopard, wild boar, hyena, sloth bear and a variety of deer. It is also home to wide variety of trees, plants, birds and reptiles and is home to the largest banyan trees in India.

Day 6: Ranthambore – Jaipur
This morning, enjoy one more game drive. Later return to your resort for brunch. Check out around mid-day and drive for 4-5 hours to Jaipur – the Pink City and capital of State of Rajasthan. On arrival in Jaipur, stay for two nights. Time permitting, take a stoll in the colourful markets of Jaipur.
Day 7: Jaipur
Today your guide will join you in exploring the beautiful old Pink City of Jaipur. Start your tour by exploring the imposing Amber Fort and enjoying the fantastic views across the surrounding landscape. Set in the rugged hills, ascend the Amber fort in a jeep for striking views of the surrounding gorges and lake. Inside the fort, tour the extensive Maharaja’s apartments decorated with murals and mosaic as well as the glistening Hall of Mirrors.
Afterwards, proceed to Jaipur’s incredible City Palace, meandering through its many courtyards, gardens and buildings with your guide. You will then discover the fascinating workings behind Jantar Mantar Observatory and during your tour you will also pass by the intricate façade of the magnificent Palace of the Winds, be sure to keep your camera handy !

Day 8: Jaipur – Delhi
This morning is at leisure to enjoy the facilities at your Jaipur hotel or further explore the city at your own pace. Your chauffeur is always a call away to take you anywhere you may like to go. You might like to take this opportunity to browse for interesting souvenirs in Jaipur’s famous markets and emporiums. Later in the day, you will be driven for 5-6 hours back to Delhi for an overnight stay near Delhi airport.
Day 9: Depart Delhi
At an appropritate time, you will be transferred to Delhi airport to board your flight to onward destination.
